Bring your Keep notes, labels and all.

Cimanote reads the Takeout zip directly. Labels become tags, checklists stay checklists, pinned notes stay pinned, and colors carry over.

How it works

  1. 1

    Open Google Takeout

Go to takeout.google.com, click "Deselect all", then tick only Keep.

  2. 2

    Export and download

Choose "Export once" and the zip format, then download the archive when Google emails you.

  3. 3

    Drop the zip into Cimanote

No need to unpack anything. Cimanote recognizes the Keep export and handles the rest.

What carries over

The honest version - what arrives intact, what changes shape, and what cannot make the trip.

Notes and checklists - checked state preserved
Labels - become Cimanote tags
Images and attachments
Pinned status and colors
Creation dates
Archived notes - imported as normal notes
Trashed notes - skipped, with a count in the summary
Reminders - Keep does not include them in Takeout

Common questions

Do I need to unzip the Takeout file?

No. Drop the zip in as-is. If Takeout split your export into multiple zips, import each one.

Where do my notes land?

In one "Google Keep" notebook. Keep has no folders, so your labels carry the structure as tags you can filter by.
