Import from Notion
From workspaceto notebooks.
Export Notion as Markdown & CSV and drop the zip in. Pages become notes, your page tree becomes notebooks, and those cryptic id suffixes are stripped from every name.
How it works
- 1
Export your workspace
In Notion: Settings > Settings > Export all workspace content.
- 2
Pick the right format
Choose "Markdown & CSV" and include subpages. Download the zip when it is ready.
- 3
Drop the zip into Cimanote
Cimanote detects the Notion layout, cleans up the names, and maps your page tree to notebooks.
What carries over
The honest version - what arrives intact, what changes shape, and what cannot make the trip.
Common questions
What happens to my databases?
Each database row that Notion exports as a page imports as a note. The csv table itself is skipped and the summary tells you how many.
My Notion pages nest five levels deep. What happens?
Cimanote notebooks have two levels. Deeper pages import into their second-level parent, and the import summary lists exactly which folders were merged. No notes are lost.
